My husband and I had recently been to this place and can say that we had a nice time. The decor is warm and cosy , food was fresh and really tasty. We had a nice relaxing evening as it was not crowded at the time . Service provided by Abin was excellent, really attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back again!
We had a fantastic meal at The Hungry Olive in Ruislip! The lamb cutlets were absolutely delicious, and the scallops and lobster risotto were full of flavour. The swordfish and halloumi were also perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and really accommodating throughout our visit. To top it all off, the live singer was fantastic – even our 2-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the performance! A lovely evening all round – highly recommend!
Booked a table for a birthday dinner. We were welcomed and shown to our table. It was an early dinner so it was very quiet. We were promptly asked for our order. The drinks were well made and food was brought as requested. A very good selection on the menu, with something for everyone. The food was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the chicken kebab. The toilets too are something I'm generally worried about, but the toilets too are in a good state, clean and do not smell! The only thing I would point out is that when I called to book, I was asked if it's a special occasion and I mentioned it was for a birthday. There was no acknowledgement of this, so it's pointless asking for this information. Other than that I would say it's a really good addition to the high street with high standards of food, drinks and ambience and not the most expensive compared to other similar places in the city.
The atmosphere was great, the interior design is beautiful and peaceful. The food was great, a family of six we had a great time and enjoyed all course of food. The staff was friendly, helpful to make choice on the menu with recommendations.
Went for lunch on a Saturday, food was brilliant! We ordered a steak and rack of lamb. Such a nice little hidden gem. And the staff looked after us well, even gave us some shots on the house.
A gem! Amazing service, wonderful food and stunning decor. My husband and I really enjoyed a quiet dinner. We were surprised at how flavoursome and well balanced the food was, especially the starters. Our waiter was so kind and helpful and we can’t wait to visit again with our family. Particular favourite was the Lobster Risotto starter.
Beautifully appointed restaurant. The food was outstanding for quality, flavour and value. We didn’t ask for salt and pepper because everything was seasoned perfectly. The staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. This was our first visit; it won’t be our last.
Delicious food and such a lovely place! Abim was an amazing waiter — super friendly and attentive. Huge shoutout to the kitchen chefs as well — 5 stars for their work. I’ll definitely be coming back!
